This is the same jack as the standard Switchcraft panel jack you're used to seeing, with the exception that the threaded bushing is .375" long rather than .250" long. It will be a better fit for some applications, such as SGs and 335s, where the jack goes through the body and there are sometimes not enough threads showing above the surface to get the washer and nut on. We've seen Teles like this too, where the jack's threads have to pass through a lock washer, then through the internal clip, and finally through the jack ferrule, making it impossible in some instances to get a washer under the nut.
