they're nicely presented in cool little boxes with excellent documentation (showing
images of vintage circuits, so you'll be able to wire them into your guitar
for maximum visual effect). If you're building a repro guitar, or restoring
a vintage one, these caps are just one more detail to get you closer to THE
REAL DEAL.
The older styles are true paper-in-oil, while the newer Fender styles are ceramic
disk. These caps command a premium because of the labor involved with hand-producing
them. They're highly-detailed reproductions, and you can appreciate that they're
time-consuming to make (and we can happily report that the guy behind them is
pleasantly anal in the extreme, and we mean that as the highest sort of compliment).
