This switch adds an unobtrusive button to your pickguard, so it is a good alternative for those applications where you need a DPDT switch, but where a mini-toggle or push/pull pot aren't desired. It protrudes only slightly from the face of the pickguard; pushing it repeatedly toggles it between A-B functions. It is a normal DPDT switch, so it can be used for coil tapping, phase-switching, series/parallel, etc.
Installation is straightforward. Superglue the mounting block to the back of the pickguard, drill through the hole, then screw the switch to the block. The parchment button pushes onto the switch to complete the look.
