This switch functions exactly the same as the 4-pole Oak-Grigsby switch you've seen elsewhere, but is narrower than that switch by .230" (nearly 1/4"). Other than that difference, it's the same as the wider switch in terms of quality and functionality.
We had this switch made specifically for use with our ToneShaper push/push switch. When the push/push switch is used in Strat applications that also call for a superswitch, the excessive width of the normal superswitch forces the push/push switch's button to be offset toward either the volume or the tone knob - it cannot be centered between them.
This switch will also fit into standard Tele routing, so for the first time ever, Tele players who want to use the 4-pole switch will be able to do so. Click the images below to see the details.
